Hello mates!!! I am Captain Ian 'Coby' Gonzaley. Welcome aboard the Sea Brat, the flag ship of Nevis Water Sports Ltd.
Fishing has always been my love since a very young age under the expert guidance of my grandfather Emmanuel ' Jonah' Gonzaley who was a pioneer fisherman in Nevis. Jonah came
to Nevis when he was 7 years old from Cuba, this is back in the 1920's. Jonah was given this nick name due to the love of the sea and his ability to catch fish, conch and lobster. At a very tender age
Jonah took me under his wing (FIN). Jonah taught me well. Jonah and I spent many hours at sea and that is where I developed and expanded my sights. I learnt tricks of the trade, skills in the times
before GPS. I would be delighted to share some of our stories with you aboard Sea Brat.
My crew and I operate ' Sea Brat' on off shore excursions. The Location of Nevis make it possible to visit neighbouring islands, explore the pristine Caribbean seas. My
service aboard the Sea Brat with Nevis Water Sports Ltd. spans more than a decade as I began my apprenticeship in 1993. I obtained my certificate in 2004. During my years as the Captain of Sea Brat I
have competed and won many fishing tournaments both locally and in the neighbouring islands. I boast two records in Nevis which still stand 1) for a 200+lbs Blue Marlin caught by a 12 year old boy. 2nd
for the largest blue marlin within the federation a whopping 500+ lbs caught by a youth only 16 year old.
As the new owner of Nevis Water Sports Ltd. I take great pleasure in welcoming you to Nevis. I hope to see you Aboard Sea Brat where you will enjoy fun filled expeditions with
great service and an honest, warm and friendly smile. Let me show you the magic of Nevis and experience of My Ocean.
